Day before school starts...

Hello-o-o... =)

Went to Brisbane City church today. It was SO identical to City Harvest la! Really! The worship team is good man! And that really brings people into the service. But me, having been brought up in a traditional chinese church, am still not used to such forms of worship. So my search for a chinese traditional church continues. In fact, I've already found a few so will try 'em out week by week to see which one I like. Haha! Feels like I'm shopping for clothes. Heh! =D

After church, DG fetched me & Shu Xian to Queen Street where we had to wait for Jared they all to come at around 12.30pm. So we decided to go browse around in Borders meanwhile. She called Barry when we were in there and ha! Barry was in Borders too! So cool! Yeah, so we walked around Borders looking for him but couldn't. Then when she was about to call him again, we spotted his feet jutting out from behind a pillar. Haha! Yep! So the 3 of us got ourselves some books & sat down & read & waited till the rest showed up. At 1pm, DL (previously known as LHD) showed up at Borders to say the Vivian & Jared they all will be late. So alright... we browsed some more... fine by me! =) Yep, and when they arrived & we met, we took 130 from under Queen St there to MacGregor for our lunch first. DL brought us to this Taiwanese Food Court... Jared & Guoqian had "shûi jiâo miàn" for AUD$7.90... and I had "níu nán fàn" for the same price. Haha! Comes with a free drink, but it's still way expensive! Oh wells, food here's like that... Next time I'll cook like, every meal.

Anyways, after lunch, we headed backwards towards Sunny Bank where A-Mart was. It's supposed to have cheap furniture. Yeah. And we ordered these foam mattresses that were 140mm (14cm) thick with a coal colored cloth wrapping it. $45.95 each. The thinner one, 120mm (12cm) thick, was an ugly blue color & I didn't like it, so I paid $6 more for the extra 2cm, which I don't think makes much of a difference anyways... just the color. Haha! Yeah, and we ordered 3 study desks that were like 1210 x 730 x 600mm in dimension... 3 drawers included and 1 comes with a lock. Costs $79.95 only, and u can add $20 for a not-so-comfy cushioned swivel chair that does not lean back, cannot adjust height. So yeah, we didn't get that chair. And that's all the furniture shopping we did today.

Took a bus back to Southbank, Barry went home, the rest of us walked on to the CityCat ermm... harbour? Wharf? Yeah... wharf... haha! Or platform, if you'd call it that, and took the CityCat back to Guyatt [something]. It was evening le... no, late afternoon. So I took my camera out & took some shots. See!

Here's what a CityCat looks like:

Oh, by the way, here're the photos from last night's steamboat!

Yummy eh? Haha!

Anyways, came back & slacked & chit chatted for abit... like 2h or so... Jasmine & Vivian were saying I look alot like this guy they know... so they went online & searched Friendster for his photo, then they say look alike but I'm a much more shuài version. Haha! *beams* I'm shuài leh!!! Haha! Wait... no I'm not. I'm just shuài-er than that guy but I'm still not shuài. *bleah*

Tmr school start le... how how? Apprehensive leh. My course is like, such a nobody course... On 1 hand, it's good coz you're closer to the lecturers & u learn more when they teach 1-on-1. On the other hand, if u don't get along well with ur coursemates, then there aren't many other coursemates to try to get along with instead. But I'll leave my worries to Him Who is above. Oh ya, I'm told to bring a plastic bag to bring home some chemicals of some sort, and a big bag to bring back a pinning box & a setting box. Know what it brings to mind? I'm gonna be an insect taxidermist! Haha! Now, what's that big word, u might ask... A taxidermist is someone who kills animals & stuffs them & preserves them so that they are frozen forever in whoever's home. Something like that la. So cool right? I'll be able to make insect thingys that I can keep forever! Yay! Haha!

Did I mention that my timetable's kinda slack? I'll type it out:

Monday: 9am - 11am
Tuesday: 8am - 9am
Wednesday: 8am - 1pm with an hour break at 9am
Thursday: 12pm - 1pm
Friday: 10am - 11am, 2pm - 5pm.

Haha! Even poly also not so slack lor... Oh but then I've got a "Flexible Delivery" module whereby I'm given a CD-ROM to self study. Weird out...

I better sleep early tonight. Lessons tmr! Cheers mate!

He can't get her out of his mind... not that he wants to. He needs a hug, he realised... Pretty badly. Her hug. And he misses her soft-as-a-feather touch, her more-fragrant-than-Thai rice smell, her more-beautiful-than-diamonds eyes, and her sweeter-than-wine lips... and he loves her still. And he's thinking of her all the time... like, ALL the time. And he longs for the day when he doesn't have to type in black anymore...

His girl friends said that she was very cute! Haha! Yay!

Love me if you dare... 18:51
