Waiting... waiting...
Heya!
Did I mention I bought the bike already? If I haven't, YESH!!! I bought the $99.50 K-Mart bike! Haha! But I have yet to assemble it yet. Will go to the city to buy some tools later... haha! Tools here are expensive u know? Crazy one lor the prices... And yesterday went Sunny Bank K-Mart, much bigger than Ind'roo & Toowong's one... Bought my helmet & mud guards there. Oh ya, finally found a Reject Shop in Brisbane! In Sunny Bank! Haha! Yeah... but it was abit disappointing though. Not as much stuff there as the Adelaide one... *shrugs*
Anyways, Saturday was a slacker day... Had a Salad Bar buffet at Sizzler. Ordered a main course too and everything cost $18+ lor. Next time, I'll just eat the Salad Bar. It's good enough for me! It'd cost $11 something... Very reasonable I think... I'd definitely go there again! =) Yeah, eat eat eat until like 3.45pm... then took a CityCat to SouthBank. Walked the market, the bike shop was closed, took CityCat to the city, walked about then took a bus home... haha! And for the rest of the night, didn't do anything.
Oh ya, missed out Friday! Went to OCF for Bible Study at 6.30... It was nice! Yeah... strangely enough, I felt quite at ease... Maybe it's because I don't really know the others well, so they're like strangers, and you're more willing to share your "secrets" with strangers coz they can't judge you and stuff... y'know, that kinda thing? Yeah... Anyways, it was a good experience & I'd go again this Friday. *winks*
After that, Louis & Mei brought me along to go look for Mao. Haha! Yeah, forced (well, sorta) her to come along with us for a meal... coz all 3 of us haven't had dinner. So we went to the 24h Pancake House & I ordered something called The Ultimate. Haha! And I have to say, it deserves its name well! It's a warm dish, crepe with melted cream cheese inside & a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, and strawberries & syrup decorating the plate. It's heavenly! Haha! Really, it really is nice! $11.95 for that. Mao had this Blackforest pancake... Not bad too! Chocolate pancake with chocolate sauce and cherries (or were they rasberries?)! Well, there were 2 pancakes & she had half & said she was done. So, as usual, I took the rest and gobbled them down. Haha! And again, as usual, Mei & Mao were like, wah, u really can eat hor? Haha! I'm taking that as a compliment! =D So after the pancake meal, we sent Mao home... am gonna miss her again.
Ah wells... Sunday! Woke up late! Louis said to be ready by 8.30am. I woke up at 8.30am when Mei rang my doorbell. Haha! Shite! So I rushed like mad, got out in what I perceive to be 5min or less. Went over to Shuxian's, and sped all the way to Eight Mile Plains... Methodist church! Haha! Shuxian went to the english service while the 3 of us went to the mandarin one. It felt so homely to be in a service with a moderately sized congregation and the familiar method of worshipping... Haha! Enjoyed it lots! After the service ended at 10.30am or so, Rev Dr Michael Tan recognised me (I have no idea how) as my dad's son! Haha! Yeah, he was like, You must be Thomas Koh's son! And I was like, wow! Do I look so much like him? Haha! I don't have a moustache... And we talked alot & I was introduced to his son & daughter who still remembers Shawn & Hans! And Mrs Rev Tan... haha! Yeah, we talked as if we were old friends! It was cool... =) That's what's amazing about GOD's family! We're one, no matter where we go & who we are! It's just so beautiful! Hee! And we decided on having dinner together on Wednesday evening. How odd... What would it be like, I do seriously wonder.
Ok, I shall not elaborate on lunch & stuff...
I'm going to the City to buy/look for bike stuff & some tools soon. Actually, in an hour's time or so. Yeah... hope to get everything done within 2h so can go home to rest & do work. And right now, I'm just feeling sleepy so I might just take a nap here in the library. *yawns*
When he calls her, it's a torture. Everyday she sounds next to him, but in truth, is so far away. He longs to see her, to touch her, to kiss her... but the wait is getting too long... too arduous. When you push yourself too hard, your muscles start to ache. And the most important muscle in him is aching so bad... the muscle that pumps life into the rest of him... aches... *cringes*
"Well, when I was a young man never been kissed,
I got to thinkin' it over how much I'd missed.
So I got me a girl and I kissed her and then, and then,
Oh lordy, well, I kissed her again
Because she had kisses sweeter than wine.
She had, mmm-mmm, kisses sweeter than wine.
(Sweeter than wine)
Well, I asked her to marry and to be my sweet wife,
I told her we'd be so happy for the rest of our lives.
I begged and I pleaded like a natural man
And then, oops oh lordy, she gave me her hand
Because she had kisses sweeter than wine.
She had, mmm-mmm, kisses sweeter than wine.
(Sweeter than wine)..."
