And I love her...
So many things I wanna say... it's overwhelming my mind. I can't start... I don't know which one. I'm afraid if I start on one, the rest will disappear. Why do I have such a small mind capacity? *grrr*
Well, they're mainly happy. Ya. Haha! But I shall start on an unpleasant one first. This one's been bugging me for a coupl'a days. Need to get it off... heh.
A certain someone (if you're reading this, you should know yourself. But even if you don't, I'm not surprised.) has such a weird character I simply cannot comprehend how Z (let's call this someone Z ok?) thinks. Usually I'm able to understand why people behave the way they do, but not this time. Z is the first ever to knock me off my feet. Haha! Not in a good way, mind you. But Z appears to be REALLY unfriendly. Well, friendliness comes at times, but you should know that an ulterior motive lurks under that facade. I see it as pure distrust for humankind... and I seriously do wonder why. For example? Well... if I state an example, it'd be quite obvious who I'm talking about. (But I still won't be surprised if Z doesn't know Z-self in this umm... tale?) But I'll state one anyways: One time, I was asking Z about something and Z asked me why I wanted to know. My reply was pretty nonchalant I guess, saying I just wanna know, outta curiosity. And the reply that came was a really really vague one. *pffft* K, I was asking for a specific date, but what I got was the month. Wah lau... of course I know which month la! K, another one. Haha! I'm getting into this... =D Another time, I was asking the time something was gonna happen. Again, Z asked me why? And I was like, what the hell? Everything also why? So I said I just wanted to know again. Guess what? Z's reply: "Cheh!" and then Z disappeared. (how can someone just disappear? Well, I wasn't face to face with Z. The conversation took place on another interface.) At that point of time, I was like, so stunned la! Like, wha-a-at?! Now, I'm not a vulgar person, but at that moment, the word "bitch" just popped into my mind. And me being non-vulgar, went to check up if that word was an appropriate description of Z.
Quoted from dictionary.com: A woman considered to be spiteful or overbearing.
Yes, I think that is quite appropriate. The bitch Z is. Oops! I reveal Z's gender. For those who know Z, you'd know the bitch she is, and you'd agree with me (but you'll still say I'm bad). Well, if that's the way it's gonna be, so be it. We shall see how things turn out in 3 weeks' time...
Ok, got that off me! *phew*
What is love? Humans have been searching for that answer for as long as humans existed. Some find love that lasts throughout their lives; some find love fleeting; some think it's something unrealistic; some seek it all their lives but do not find it; some try to escape it but love finds them eventually and they succumb, even embrace it, ever so gladly.
For me, the definition of love is simple.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
-1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is the basis of life. Without love, life would be a cold cold place, a superficial place, a hard, painful experience before death. In the context of a special someone, the Bible's definition is more than enough for us to handle. Try living by it, and you'll catch yourself breaking so many of those one way or other. But if you strive to live by love, life would be a meaningful, satisfying experience. Try love today!
And as for me, love would simply mean, sacrifice...
"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her..."
-Ephesians 5:25
The power of love... astounding...
And he loves her. Maybe not perfectly, but yes, he strives to live by love. Surely you can't go wrong if you follow what the Bible says? =D I love you sweetheart...
Love me
if you
dare...
