What's wrong with me?

U know when u promise someone something, you're obligated (or do I use obliged) to honour that promise, no matter the circumstances right? Of course, within reasonable limits...

And u know when u promise someone something extraordinary? And they just go, "ok, thanks, you're so sweet. ...blah blah blah, yadda yadda..." and then they don't expect you to honour that promise coz it's so extraordinary, and they think you're just sweet-talking, or flirting, or big-talk-no-action... that kinda thing? Ya... why ah?

Is it so hard to believe someone is willing to do extraordinary things for you? Don't you think you're worth that someone's effort if he/she dares to promise u as such?

Someone close to my heart once wrote this:

"the higher you expect, the harder you fall"

Is that true? I suppose it is... But why should u expect any less from life? Life hurls so many things at us. Expect to catch all with grace & confidence! And while there will be times you miss a couple and it hits you full in the face or knocks the air outta u, what about those times when you catch those things? And you catch it well, and you use it to your own benefit, or even better, you use it to the benefit of others! The times when you catch what life throws at you and you hurl it back? What about that? What about those times, then?

Maybe it's just me who thinks this way... I must be crazy to want to change people's lives.

Is there something wrong with me? Or something that I did? Or didn't do? It's painful to keep guessing... and guessing... and guessing...
