Individuality?

1. a single human being, as distinguished from a group.
2. a person: a strange individual.
3. a distinct, indivisible entity; a single thing, being, instance, or item.

It's so hard to be an individual, isn't it? To be distinguished, to be a single entity. Distinct.

Well, it IS easy enough if u didn't have so many opinions flying about.

When u run into a problem, u usually have no idea what to do in the beginning. But then, soon enough, u get a rough idea what to do - sometimes u don't wanna, sometimes u have no choice, but u have a rough idea nonetheless. And then u go & tell some caring friends your problem(s) and they all (or each) come up with some weirdo ideas about what they think happened or what u should do, and it mucks up your thoughts so much u don't know what u ought to do anymore. Maybe you need some time alone, think things through. Get the original idea u got in the first place & see if that's do-able. The pros & cons and all... y'know? Yeah. View the others' opinions critically... then filter out the ideas with more cons, and u get a better solution each time. And when u finally get a final solution, for your own sake, stick to it. Be committed, be determined, even though it hurts, unless it causes problems beyond your comprehension & ur ability to cope. Well, no matter what u do, the immediate effect is hurt or oppression right? Right. The difference is if the hurt comes from the same source again. Sometimes when people don't believe in you, the more important thing is that you believe in yourself.

What am I talking about man...

Why is it that I don't see love amongst Christians stronger than love amongst non-Christians? Aren't Christians supposed to have more love for people, love for GOD, love for the things that surround them because the Almighty LORD GOD created everything we experience? Then why is it that when I see a non-Christian couple quarrel, someone becomes utterly utterly devastated! Well, maybe I haven't really seen a Christian couple quarrel to that extent. Haha! But well, it just brings to my mind the question of love. Is that love we see that devastates when it's been taken away or trampled upon & taken for granted? Or is it just disappointment & anguish at having put in much effort only to see it all go to waste? Is it over-possession? So to where does love put up its boundaries?

"4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails..."

How often are we patient in love? How often are we kind? How often do we not envy, not boast, not proud, not rude, not selfish, not angry? How often do we bury the hatchet, be truthful, protect, trust, hope and persevere?

Phrase it this way:

How often are we lovingly patient?
How often are we lovingly kind?
How often are we lovingly truthful?
How often do we lovingly curb our anger?
How often do we lovingly sacrifice?
How often do we lovingly bury the hatchet?
How often do we lovingly protect?
How often do we lovingly trust & hope?
How often do we lovingly persevere?

There's a difference you know? U can be kind but if it's just for show, there's no love. U can curb ur anger but if it's to save some face, there's no love. U can sacrifice but if u expect return, there's no love. U can bury the hatchet but if you're gonna dig it up again, that's not love. U can persevere but if u don't encourage at the same time, it's not love.

U get the gist... If u don't, then u can forget about reading my blog again. Haha! Just kidding. But I'm sure u get the gist. *winks*

Y'know, love never fails. If u think love fails, look through this checklist. You've failed love. Love hasn't failed you.

When a guy tells 2 girls he loves them, that guy is a jerk. When 2 girls love a jerk, I don't understand why. When I don't understand why, I become judgemental & cynical (just like this rotten world has taught me. Good job eh, world? *pffft*) and I near-condemn the guy.

But can't a guy love 2 girls? Nope. Then what is that? *shrugs* I dunno man...

What IS love, anyways?

What am I talking about man... seriously! *throws hands up in the air*
