So many things happened
Hi everyone!
Wow, I didn't realise that 1 week's gone by since I last blogged... haha!
K, there's supposed to be quite alot of things I wanna blog about... but of course, as u already know, I probably have forgotten most of them & only remembered the more recent stuff... haha!
K, in an attempt to remember as much as I can, I've typed out the main stuff that came to my head immediately. Haha! First up, it's shopping! I wanna buy a Tokidoki watch!!! Matches my Tokidoki buckle lor... See!
Nice nice right?! 3 weeks ago when I first stepped into Highway 7 (the shop that sells Tokidoki), the guy recognized me already! And he was like,
"Whatever you want, I'll give you a discount ok?"
"Really? Cool! Yeah man! How about this watch?"
"Hmm, lemme have a look. *thinks* How about $125?"
"I'll think about it... It's very tempting though."
"Yeah sure! Just come back & look for me for that discount yeah?"
The original price was AUD$150. So he's giving me $25 off. It's quite alot, no? But then, $125 for a watch... very not worth it leh... but it's SO nice!!! I won't buy that for now... but I know it'll be always at the back of my head. Haha!
Another thing I wanna buy (and most probably am buying) is an LED belt. Haha! Something like this:

Haha! Very crazy right? Haha! At first, I was SO attracted to the one with the crystals surrounding the screen... but after some thought & people's advice, I decided to go for the one without the crystals. Haha! It's about AUD$15 each... how cool is that?! I saw before in Far East selling for like SGD$80 la! Haha!

Assignments! *sigh* One due tmr... and I'm still blogging. Haha! Ok ok, I know I know. After I blog, I will have lunch, then I might take a 1hr nap, then I'll do work already ok? Ok.
The past week, I was thinking about Evelyn wanting to come over to study as well. But my dad has no money to send another one overseas to study. So I was thinking, maybe if she really wants to come over to study, I can support her living expenses. I told her that already, but she hasn't got back to me about what she thinks. I'm pretty sure I can land myself a job that pays enough for 2 people's living expenses... Meanwhile, I'm praying for direction in life after I graduate. Should I try looking for work here & if opportunities present themselves, should I stay on? Or should I risk getting a lower-paid job or even a job based on my diploma, and go back to Singapore where all my friends & family is?

Today in Taringa Baptist was the last of the 4-part series on Christian Community by Rev Bruce Pringle. It was about forgiveness. A couple of things pointed out to me was that many people don't truly forgive. Instead, they substitute it with forgetting & suppressing. And it got me thinking, if someone can truly forget the incident, there wouldn't be any grudges would there? And if we're offended, we should be the ones reaching out to the offender and trying to resolve the hurt & reconcile the relationship. Christian forgiveness is not for personal benefit, but rather, for the peace & health of a Christian community. The parallel given was that GOD was offended by our sins, yet, it was HE who reached out to us & offered us a living sacrifice that is Jesus. That gesture wasn't for the benefit of GOD... it was for our benefit so we can have a better relationship with GOD. GOD doesn't need us... but HE loves us so much so that HE died for us... Friday's BS during OCF brought out the point that GOD is just. And because HE is just, HE cannot turn a blind eye to our sins. BUT, because HE loves us, Jesus died for us to justify our sins. How great is that? I mean, don't just take my word for it. THINK about it... and you too will see exactly how GREAT our GOD is... *touched*
I love you more than I can express. I feel so inadequate. I want to do everything for you, I want to treat you like the princess you were meant to be. Yes! You are my princess! That's why the crown is there on your head. And let me be your Prince Charming (although I'm not all that charming), and we'll live happily ever after... =)
Love me
if you
dare...
