Charcoal...
Had a birthday dinner for Wendy at Charcoal, where Mike and his team of chefs & other Shatec students showcase what they've learnt so far... waitressing, serving, cooking, etc etc... Haha! It was quite enjoyable, the company... except unfortunately (or fortunately) we couldn't have Shiyi with us... Well, the conversations would be quite restricted and awkward, so I'm really glad he was gracious about the whole issue... Thanks man... and sorry I didn't really realise it before.
Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good. Haha! The main course was kinda... normal... I dunno. Squid-ink seafood pasta? The duck choice was more exotic la, but all of them had slightly undercooked drumsticks. Haha! So-o-o... *ahem* Sorry ah Mike, think u need more impactful dishes. I think it's like, $28 raised our expectations abit... =P
Anyways, I reached City Hall way before the meeting time... so I was wandering around abit, just wanted to get outta the house... Y'know what? I saw Nutri-Grain at Jason's. Guess what? $7+ for what, 250g? Or was it 450g? Either way, that's damn ex can! I remember Woolies selling the 1kg one for like $8+... haha! Anyways, I had something more reminiscent of Brisbane... and of the girls of course... especially kerənInə. Guess what? I had a Voltage! Haha! Yes, from Gloria Jeans! Yum! But y'know, as with Malaysian chocolate and Australian chocolate, and Malaysian Milo and Australian Milo, and apples and beef and chinken and many many other things, Voltage here tastes different from Voltage in Brisbane... but it was a nice reminescence anyhow. =)

Was typing out a proper resumé yesterday and today. Dug out all my "achievements" from primary school all the way to army. Hahaha! So funny! Got so many things I don't even remember doing before... like some swimming meet thingy, Track-and-Field meet?! Australian English, Science and Maths competitions from Sec 1 to 4, Micromouse competitions for 2 years, that kind of things... And and and!!! My form teacher wrote some referral or testimony thingy for me when I left secondary school too! Hahaha! Now reading it again ah, wah piang eh... damn funny can! See see...

Hahaha! "... capable of a high level of achievement in his chosen career." Hahaha! I think that line is damn funny... Can you tell from sec 4? It'd be more appropriate if that were from poly... speaking of which, I would have loved for some of my lecturers write me a testimonial then, just to know what they think of me... darn!
Oh, and when I got sick & tired of doing my resumé, I started choosing photos I took in Australia to upload into my iPod. Hahaha! 18months is alot of photos to look through... but yes, I finally did it! So now anyone who asks to see my photos and I have my iPod with me, sure thing! =)

I'm sorry I can't console very well... I'm sorry I don't talk much either. I'm sorry that it's me... I just wish sometimes, that I'm someone who can make things better, reassure, and comfort...
"I wanna send this one out to my vanilla ice-cream chocolate pudding pie
That stayed with me in the hood, do or die,
Refugee camp.
Yeah, this one goes out to my almond joy,
My banana that never split,
The one that stuck with me...
... But girl you know that, you take me as I am.
Even though my fam don't understand
Why I put that rock up on your hand,
That's cos you take me as I am.
You take me as I am,
Even when my girls can't understand,
I choose you as my man,
But you take me as I am, my, my man.
You're my girl (my man)
You're my girl (my man)
You're my lady (my man)
You're my baby.
When I was rocking jelly and had a little belly,
Who woulda ever thought, you'd think I was sexy!
I say it with an attitude, I admit I came off rude,
But still you love me, I know I get on your nerves sometimes.
And I don't know why you take me as I am,
Even when my girls can't understand.
I choose you as my man (my man, yeah),
Cause you take me as I am (take me as I am).
You take me as I am, girl, I'm a take you as you are.
Even though my fam don't understand (they can't understand no, no, no, no)
Why I put that rock up on your hand (girl),
That's cause you take me as I am.
You're the ocean that breathes,
That I feel when I'm blowing my trees alone.
You're the sun that shines
When the darkness strikes at night.
You're the love of my life,
You're my girl, you're my wife..."
Wife-to-be, perhaps? Haha! *hugs*

"I wanna love you and treat you right.
I wanna love you every day and every night.
We'll be together with a roof right over our heads.
We'll share the shelter of my single bed.
We'll share the same room, for Jah provide the bread.
Is this love, is this love,
Is this love that I'm feelin'?
Is this love, is this love,
Is this love that I'm feelin'?
I wanna know, wanna know, wanna know now!
I got to know, got to know, got to know now!
I'm willing and able,
So I throw my cards on your table!
I wanna love you,
I wanna love and treat,
Love and treat you right;
Oh yes, I know! Yes, I know! Yes, I know now!
Yes, I know, yes, I know, yes, I know now!"
