Mooncake Festival!!!

It's 3:40am and I'm blogging... hahaha! And listening to Puffy Amiyumi... cool! =)

And somehow my com is lagging...

Anyways, just wanted to recollect my day...

Initial intention was to go Sim Lim early, so I can visit my godparents later in the afternoon and give them mooncakes, then when Eunice knocks off, she can drive by Fernvale to pick me up. But Murphy has a way to make your life like the weather... unpredictable.

Firstly, Sihui couldn't make it at the time I wanted to go out, so cancelled. Called up my godparents later in the day to ask if they'd be home, and they were gonna go out soon, so... postponed. But at least the evening went as planned, although I thought Eunice would've asked Melisa or someone else along. Haha! Turns out it was just us both... which was as well... =) She's been reading my blog regularly (haven't you? *winks*) so she knows how I've been living and all, so it was a catch-up session for me. Haha! Y'know, I still think u really should start a blog. Haha! Then again, writing about your patients may get u in trouble so, up to u! *shrugs* Haha!

So anyway, we went to the Chinese Garden at ermm... Chinese Garden MRT... somewhere in Jurong la... to look at the Mid-Autumn Festival display. It really wasn't too bad! Pity I didn't go last year when they had the Disney theme...

Lookit them pi'chers! =D

The first thing that caught my eye when we entered is this:

Well, I guess it was quite effective after all! Hahaha! No trapping wor...

Yes, we were kinda lame... haha! Some of the stuff we did kinda drew a crowd... haha! Stuff like these:

K, enough of our nonsense... Haha! Some of the more "proper" shots...

The 7 storey pagoda!!!

We had free lanterns! Yay!!!
And the tradition, coincidentally for both of us, was to...
BURN THE LANTERNS!!!!

Oh, this is what they depict Atlantis to be like. Haha! What happened to the domed force field?!

K... this... Tell me, does it look like a monkey at first glance? That's what I thought... But check out the shell on their backs! They're SEA-MONKEYS!!! Wow!!!

Can you find Nemo? They all look quite alright here...

But taken from another angle, these clown fish look decidedly whacked!

Ooooo... glowing polar bears... in the mountains! Interesting eh? Haha!

Oh oh oh!!! 八仙過海!There're Biblical characters here, if u look closely & are imaginative enough... eh, Eunice? Hahaha!

Yep! It was a great evening. Thank you Eunice, for asking me out and driving me home. I really wouldn't have minded the MRT... But at least you know where I stay now. *grin*

Hey! Check this phrase out!

"Three things that never failed to rile him were bureaucracy, incompetence, and stupidity, especially when they occured together, which they often did."
-Robin Cook: Crisis: Dr Jack Stapleton, p374 row2

Doesn't that just speak to you? No? K, it speaks to me. No, it speaks FOR me... It's exactly how I feel when I can't get what I need/want in so many places.

And this too:

"Jack didn't have a problem breaking rules he judged ridiculous..."
-Robin Cook: Crisis: Dr Jack Stapleton, p464 row10

Sounds like me too... haha! At least, I think it sounds like me... *grin*

Anyways, for you who are interested in medical thrillers, Robin Cook is a good writer... Some of his books might be slightly dragged out but the twist at the end is usually quite good. Likewise, Dean Koontz.

*sigh*

3 days at Mount Glorious. I hope you'll enjoy yourself. In fact, I'm quite sure you will... =) Immensely. Yay! I just wish I were there too... Be praying for you all. =) Good weather good weather good weather... No injuries no injuries no injuries... haha! As if chanting would work. 7's 7's 7's 7's... hahahaha!!!

Love me if you dare... 01:39
