Market Day!

Hello!!!

Yes I know, I didn't blog yesterday. But duncha think I'm blogging too much? Or talking too much? Anyways it's just boring stuff about my boring day & my boring life here in UQ... Oops! Oh no no!!! UQ's fun!!! So many people! So many interesting things to learn during lectures!!! And the weather's good & the scenery is good & the study environment is wonderful!!! Haha!

Anyways... came across something just now, and it made me think of the coming Great Singapore Sale! Wah liao... I can't be there to shop lor! Shite... The only sale I can look forward to here is the winter sale where they sell all the summer clothing real cheap. Haha! Then again, that was when I was in Adelaide. Brisbane's pretty different... Oh wells, it's not as if I'm a shopaholic anyhoo... *winks*

Yep! Yesterday didn't blog coz I went home straight after sch... Well, not straight la... Went library to photocopy something for Luke, then met Weiyang! Haha! So cool la! So both of us just sat down somewhere & I think he wanted to read some papers but we ended up chatting the hour away. Haha! Seems like he's getting on well... and so did I! Yep! Anyways, that's not why I didn't blog. I went home, took a sleep, woke up at 1:30pm, cooked instant noodles, and went out cycling. And collecting insects! Haha! More like an insect hunt. K, not really also la... U can get to see many insects at any 1 particular place IF you're patient enough to wait in the sun & concentrate on searching & not move too much or too suddenly. Anyhoo, my first victim was a green grasshopper, followed by a brown one with orange legs, and then a honeybee... cycled to another location near the train tracks, caught a wasp and an assassin bug. I was so tempted to capture the whole family of assassin bugs lor! They're just sitting there on a grass, basking in the sun... and the young ones are so nice! It's black with orange legs & feelers! The adults are brown & drab with an X across it's back. And they look dangerous. Haha!

Yeah, so I brought them home & pinned them into the drying box. It's suppsed to take like 4wks to dry them out? Wah lau... I don't have enough pins. Which reminds me, I should email the department and ask for more materials. Haha!

*sigh* Today I'll be staying in sch to study with SX again. I dun wanna study... but I can't. Things are piling up... datelines are still looming... Yes, of course I cleared some... but there're more to come. Haha! It'll never end! And home is so not a conducive place to study. I dunno why. But Daphne thinks so too. Haha! And I don't see Jared doing much study himself, unless he studies at Sue's place? I dunno... haha! But generally all of us feel that our house is like a holiday chalet. Fun & laughter everyday! Haha!

Hmm... what to write, what to write... *thinks*

Oh! And I ironed some of my clothes yesterday! Haha! Finally get to wear ironed clothes. It becomes the same after half a day of wearing, but it's the first half where tees are crumpled that I'm embarrassed about. As if I'm so lazy like that. I'm not lor! We just didn't have an ironing board till recently. =P

Hai... nothing to write le. Shall not try to think of things to write... so lame lor. I'll just study, do some research & stuff before SX comes over. If something pops into my head, I'll write it here again...
